From Nunavut to Newfoundland, over the course of five years, Historylands has documented sixty five of Canada's most compelling National Historic Sites. To fully understand where we are today, it is vital for us, as Canadians, to understand where we have been.

Lakeland’s comfortable setting allows you to focus on learning. Our award-winning programs are designed to ease your transition into the work force and/or further study at a four-year institution. You’ll get a university-caliber education here --- but without the red tape, the big crowds and the distractions.

Adventure Tourism and Outdoor Recreation   

Learn outdoor leadership/guiding and business skills, and be a valuable part of a tourism business or as the owner of your own venture. With nature interpretation, environmental sciences and natural history background, you will help visitors safely explore backcountry living and have outdoor adventures. Even with little or no outdoor experience, you will learn the basics of practical guiding skills and progress to skills that make you a competent outdoor professional.
